Worship on Sunday, February 28th at 8:45 am will feature scripture from Luke 13:1-9, read by Gilda Galvis, telling the story of Jesus’ parable about the man whose fig tree hadn’t produced fruit for three years but the gardener suggesting that a little fertilizer and time might help. Rev. Cheryl Meachen’s sermon, entitled “Give it One More Year” will explore how God’s forgiveness and a period of fertilizer can produce lives that bear fruit. The Children’s Message is “God of the Second Chance” also based on Luke 13 and will teach of God’s forgiveness through an example of Thomas Edison's invention of the light bulb. Marilyn Kugler leads the choir and music. Contact us via e-mail at [email protected] or phone 413-774-6441.
